1. Who can attend?

The activities of Pronto Seminars are available to professionals in health-related fields including physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, nurses, yoga instructors, researchers, and educators who are qualified for membership in, or are members of, their respective professional organizations and to professionals with health-related graduate degrees from accredited institutions. Applications from graduate students and interns in accredited programs leading to a degree in the above fields will be accepted if they supply a letter from their university/department on letterhead stationery certifying their full-time status.

2. Can my partner/spouse attend the seminar or workshop?

Partners/spouses and family members are welcome to join in on meals and excursions but because of the limited space and intimate training environment, not necessarily in the actual training workshop.

3. Do you offer Group Discounts?

Yes. Group registrations are done manually and via email. Please send an email to info@italyseminars.com with the names in your group. We will then create individual invoices for all members of the group. Group rates are as follows:

3 attendees ——-10% discount on each registration fee
4 to 7 attendees—-15% discount on each registration fee
7+ attendees ——20% discount on each registration fee

4. How do I register?

Registration is online. Please follow the links from our home page: http://www.italyseminars.com/. We use EventBrite (http://www.eventbrite.com) for online registrations. If you prefer to register via email or over the phone, please contact us at info@italyseminars.com or +001.415.839.7269.

5. Are meals and/or hotel included in the seminar fee?

No, the registration fee secures the speaker, the venue and tuition/materials for the course. We create an attractive package for meals and excursions exclusively for our participants, unique to each event.

7. Do you offer Scholarships?

No, not at this time.

8. Do you send invitation letters for Visas?

9. What is the Program Schedule each day?

From 9 am to 1 pm the seminar/workshop/retreat meets; excursions and free time for the rest of the day.

10. When is the best time to make travel reservations?

The best time to book travel is after you receive confirmation that the seminar is subscribed. Early registration helps us to make each seminar a success.

11. Is there any Internet point close to the conference venue?

Usually our venues have wi-fi. Yes, usually there is an Internet Cafe near our venues.

12. Is there a Laundromat or dry cleaner’s close to the conference venue?

Usually there is a Laundromat nearby or one can utilize the hotel service.

13. It is a good idea to purchase travel insurance?

Yes. Most travel insurance will cover some of your costs in the event you cannot travel for some reason or the event is canceled.

14. Do you have any airline discounts?

No, because the market is always changing. If you would like help with your travel planning, including touring in Italy and Europe before and after our seminars, we recommend our travel consultant, Josh Friedman (http://www.joshfriedmantravel.com/ ). Josh is an Italy expert and he should be able to save you time while providing high quality service. Service fees apply.

15. Is there any left luggage service at the railway station?

Yes, usually there is a luggage office where you can leave your luggage for a maximum of 5 days. However, it depends on the city.

16. What if my luggage get mislaid?

We can help track it down.

17. Are the rooms singles or doubles? Do the rooms have private bathrooms?

All rooms have private bathrooms. Usually a venue has singles, doubles and triples.

18. What is the cancellation policy?

19. Can I share a room with another participant?

Yes, we can help with this. If you would like to share a room, please send your inquiry to info@italyseminars.com including your email address. You must do this AFTER you register and we cannot guarantee a roommate, but we will send you a list of people who have inquired and you can contact people on your own.

20. Do you recommend travelers checks?

You may bring travelers’ checks (only in Euro) if you wish but the easiest solution is offered by ATM machines.

21. What will the weather be like?

In the spring and summer the weather will likely be warm to hot, cooling down at nights.

22. What is the dress code?

The warm weather necessitates light clothing (we suggest natural fabrics in light colors). As a fair amount of walking is inevitable in Italy, make sure you bring comfortable footwear (sandals or similar shoes are best because sneakers and training shoes tend to make your feet swell up in the heat). Casual is fine but remember no bare shoulders, shorts or beachwear in churches.

23. How do you organize our excursions? What tours are available to our group?

All of our excursions and tours are especially conceived to avoid mass tourism. We will be sending you information about available tours about 6 weeks prior to the event. Tours with the participants are optional, and our venues have excellent local expertise about planning excursions.

24. Will there be a phone number we can call if we are lost?

Yes, your hotel phone number is the best to use in this case.

25. What is the current exchange rate for my country?
