Pronto Seminars Continuing Education WORKSHOPS in Italy Announces its 2010 Schedule FEATURING Affordable Retreats for Professionals and Their Families:

January 13, 2010, San Francisco, CA — Pronto Seminars (www.italyseminars.com) today announced its 2010 schedule of quality, CME/CE workshops in Italy through joint sponsorships with InQuill Medical Communications and Alliant Continuing Education. Physicians, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT and LPC), and Registered Nurses (RN) can all receive continuing education credits.

“2010 is a time for health care professionals and their families to restore, heal, and learn, and Pronto Seminars offers a unique alternative for continuing education,” said Ron Pilato, founder. “We are pleased to announce three events in Western Tuscany.”

  • Restore with Richard Miller, PhD psychologist and author of Yoga Nidra: The Meditative Heart of Yoga, June 6-11;
  • Heal with Lee Lipsenthal, MD, author of “The Healer Within”, 14-19 June;
  • Learn with Rebecca Jorgensen, Ph.D., presenting an “Externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy”, 20-25 June.

Events are held at the Hotel Villa Rinascimento,, a splendid Renaissance Villa that dominates the olive and vineyard covered valley of Santa Maria del Giudice. The Villa offers an extraordinary setting with a serenity suited to the nature of Pronto’s programs. Tours are available through the cities of Lucca and Pisa, both 9 km away.

Ellyn Bader, a 2007 speaker and Director of The Couples Institute, said, “Being a speaker for Pronto was even better than I expected. The seminar was rich due to so many therapists from different countries sharing their experiences working with couples. I also loved being able to work with a small intimate group, giving each participant a more personal experience. Pronto made us feel so welcome and provided us the opportunity to experience local Italian culture. Truly a week I’ll never forget.”

Esther Perel, a 2009 presenter said, “It was a real pleasure to work with Pronto last year especially when embraced by the Tuscan hills.  Participants came from all over the world and spanned many disciplines. I would certainly do it again.”

“The classes are small and designed for participants to have afternoons free to wander through the countryside, enjoy a wonderful meal, or visit a museum.  Learning in this environment, at a relaxed pace, allows for a full integration of new material and practices” said Sandy Hungerford, MA, a participant who has attended Pronto’s programs in Sorrento and Venice.

“These seminars are a cost effective way to combine travel and education. The setting provides the ease to make friendships, the intimacy of learning, shared meals and the pleasures of adventure and discovery,” says Melanie Mopsick, LCSW, a regular participant.

“The classes are small and designed for participants to have afternoons free to wander through the countryside and be immersed in Italian culture.  Learning in this environment, at a relaxed pace, allows for a full integration of new material.” said Sandy Hungerford, MA, a participant who has attended Pronto’s programs in Sorrento and Venice.

Founded in 2006, Pronto Seminars creates an authentic cultural setting for presenters to have small group time with an international audience. It is a perfect respite, an ideal combination of work and relaxation.
